We slid out of the Range Rover in the usual order and made our way into the OCD High School's halls.
It had been a week since the premiere incident, and thank gawd the paparazzi had been completely oblivion to us! (I never though I'd been saying this)
None of us had been caught on pictures, and so, the disaster of that night would go with us to the grave - TPC's word.
Thankfully, it was all the same at school! We were still the hawtest girl around, we still ruled and everyone adored us. Ahb-viously.
"Well girls, this is it" I said to my best friends when we reached our lockers (all lined up in the same order we always had ourselves in).
"Yap, time for Science!" Alicia sayed, receiving an agreeing nod from Dylan.
"It's PE for us!" Kristen said, in the usual exited voice she always talked about sports in. She looked at Claire with those big blue eyes, and she gave her a sweet 'I'm really trying to agree with your excitement, even tough I'm epically failing" smile.
"Ok, I'm stuck with Math then." I hated being separated from the PC. It just never felt right! And I hated it even more when it was because of Math!! Gawd, I hate Math!
"See you at lunch girlies!"
"Adios!"
"Auf Wiedersehen"
"Ciao"
"Ah... Bye!"
I was sitting in Math class, drawing a beautiful piece that would for sure be a piece of the 1st MB Spring/Summer collection, because 1. the class was being the usual bore and 2. I had to start preparing my portfolio! If I was going to get into one of the best fashion colleges in the world, I had to start preparing, ASAP!
I was so absorbed in my own thoughts that I almost didn't hear the buzzing coming from the tables behind me. But luckily, I did.
"Uh, puh-lease, I'm so sick of the telling everyone what to do and what to wear! They aren't even that stylish!"
"Hum... they kind of are..."
"And I'm not??"
"No, I mean, yes, I mean... It's not that!"
"Listen, they might call themselves The Pretty Committee, but they are nawt the prettiest girl in this school at all! We are!"
"WE?"
"Shhhhh! Yes, we! Who are they to think they can just walk around pretending to me better than everyone, when they are so nawt?! Come awn!! Claire is such a LBR, Kristen is a total tomboy, Dylan is getting fatter by the minute and Alicia is such a female god!!"
"What about... Massie?"
"Puh-lease! She is full of herself because she is rich and all, but my dad is much richer than her, and she doesn't even have a bf! How is that an Alpha?? She is just pathe...!"
I had enough.
"YOU!" I turned back and crossed my legs on the side of the chair at the same time, in a fast and flawless movement.
The entire class stopped and turned to me. Even the teacher stopped yapping about whatever he was yapping about and turned ti see what was going on.
"First: if I was you, I wouldn't talk crap about other people in their back. Literally. Second, it's funny how many bad things you can say about the people who pretty much created the terms you're using to describe them. And third, you must be dreaming wide awake! You just wish you could be as lovable as Claire, as tones as Kris, as vibrant as Dyl, has gorgeous as Leesh and has much Alpha material as me!"
The girls were so shocked they had no strength to answer me at all. Their mouths hanged open, as if they had just seen a ghost.
Well, they didn't, but they might become ghosts sometimes soon...
