Expulsion

"Expulsion? I'm sorry, but don't you think that's a bit much?" I was so schoked I could barely make sense of the whole situation.
Me? Expeled?
"No, Miss Block, I don't."
"But then... I'd have to repeat the entire 12th grade!!"
"Yes, you will."
"You aren't serious? It's the last week of school!"
"I'm very serious, and you should have thought of that before. Now go, enjoy your last day at OCD High School. I'll call your parents in a couple of hours. Leave now."
I wanted to protest. I wanted to come up with am excuse, a lie, a solution, or at least a good comeback. Something. Anything.
But all I did was get up from the blue chair and leave the office.

"Mass! What did she want with you?" I heard Alicia say, when I reached them. First period had already passef, so the girls had been waiting for me.
"What did she say? Are you in trouble?" Claire said, worried.
I heard a sight leave my mouth. They all froze.
And I began to tell them what had happened.

"Ehmagawd."
"No way!"
"This can't be happening!"
"How is this possible?"
"I know girls, I know. But I don't think I have a choice. I don't know how I'll survive another year here without you... And my college plans... they're so done. And I'll be grounded for life!"
"Wait Mass! Are you giving up?" Claire said.
I looked at her with a confused look. Was I? I mean, maybe I was. What else could I do? I couldn't think of anything! I was stuck! Worst, I was done. Done, done and done.
"You aren't serious?? Who are you and what did you do to our BFF??" Dylan sounded shocked.
"Come on!! We'll figure something out! We always do!!" Kristen said, trying to reassure me.
"Massie Block!! Are you nuts?? We are not letting you go down like this! And if you do go down, we all will! Right, ladies?" Alicia was so sure of herself she got to me.
"Obviously!!" The other girls answered.
